There is a very specific tiredness that comes along with waiting tables.  It results from 5 to 7 hours on your feet, thinking, and not eating anything.  So before work, I fortify!

Soaked oats (oats soaked in soy milk overnight) with chia seeds, figs, sunflower seed butter, and granola.  Plus the bottom of a container of greek yogurt with strawberries and raspberries.  Yes, the oats are in a jar- that’s where they soaked overnight.

With tea, of course!
